Comika's Commissions
I'm a Digital Artist from Germany, offering all sorts of art commissions. Please read my ToS and contact me via social media or email. You must own a PayPal account.
I am also open to commission options and ideas not listed in my price tables, such as character designs, emotes, or VTuber avatars (unrigged).

Please note that all of the here listed prices do not include FEES for complexity or other additions (backgrounds, props, etc). Consider the listed prices as GUIDELINES rather than strict price ranges.

Depending on complexity, different commissions result in different workloads. To determine a fair price, I may need to apply fees.Due to this practice, prices may exceed expectations. If you are uncertain whether you can afford my commissions, just go ahead and ask! I can fault you as little for being responsible with your resources as you can fault me for being responsible with mine.In addition, you may contact me about other types of commissions. Including emotes, VTuber models (unrigged), and more!I may reject commission if I feel uncomfortable with their subject matter.

How to commission
1. CONTACT. Send me a message and detail your commission request (e.g. character, pose, expression, atmosphere, aesthetic, etc.).
1a. Visual reference material is recommended. If the references are insufficient, you may need to pay additional fees (refer to TOS term No. 7).
2. CONFIRMATION. Wait for my reply or contact me again if you believe I have missed your initial message.
2a. After confirming your commission request, I will discuss the commission’s details with you, including the pricing.
2b. I will also discuss the artwork’s details with you. If the posing, aesthetic or anything else don’t match up or impair the artwork’s quality, I will ask you to rethink your initial idea.
3. WIPs. I will send at least one WIP during the creation process.
3a. Please make sure to point out inaccuracies and imperfections in the earlier stages. Those changes are easier to implement.
3b. An excessive amount of corrections (more than three corrected WIPs) may lead to additional fees (refer to TOS term No. 7).
4. PAYMENT. I will send you a payment link for PayPal. Without payment, I will not complete the commission.
5. FILE. You will always receive a digital file (.png, .jpg, .gif, .mp4, etc.) of the artwork. You may also request that I send the .csp file or a .psd version via email. I do not offer physical versions or prints.
In case you would like to cancel your commission, keep in mind that refunds will be proportional to the time and effort I have already invested in the piece. I can not give you any refunds for a completed artwork.
Terms of Service
1. The following terms outline my general guidelines. There are exceptions, however. Please keep in mind that said exceptions do not invalidate any of the following terms, but simply reflect my willingness to act in good faith and help you out.
1a. As long as it to your (the customer's) advantage, I (the artist) may not adhere to some of these terms (e.g. not charging additional fees, accepting price negotiations, etc.). Said terms are marked with an asterisk (*).
1b. The before mentioned rule can not be applied the other way. I cannot cannot ignore my ToS to your inconvenience and neither can you ignore my ToS to my inconvenience.
2. If you break any of the following terms and agreements are broken, I may cancel your commission with no refunds and ban you as a customer for good.
3. I do not draw NSFW and fetish content, heavy gore, discriminatory content, depictions of real people without their consent, or characters and objects too far out of my comfort zone (e.g. highly complex armor, weaponry or technology).
4. I do not draw for NFT-Collectors, minors under the age of 14, or customers I consider a safety risk to my person or business (e.g. paedophiles, extremists, scammers, etc.).
5. * I do not take reservations for commission slots. If you do not detail your order within 72 hours after messaging me, your commission will be cancelled and the slot can be given to somebody else.
6. * I expect my clients to be responsive. If a client does not respond within 72 hours, I may carry on with the commission without any further input of the customer or cancel the commission entirely.
6a. This does not apply if I have been informed of your absence beforehand. In that case, I will simply take a break with your commission.
7. * Corrections on the commission may lead to additional costs. That is the case with pieces requiring more than three WIP corrections, pieces commissioned with insufficient visual reference material provided by the customer (complex pose suggestions, missing clothing, colours or design details, etc.) and pieces completed while the customer remained unresponsive.
8. * If I consider a commission “complex” (e.g. intricate design, difficult pose, etc.), I may require an additional fee to compensate the additional time and effort spent on the piece. Please visit my FEES PAGE for further information.
9. * Please do not try to negotiate any of my prices, especially not after you have already agreed to my offer.
10. If any mistakes were made with the price calculation, it is both the customer’s and my duty to point these out. Neither I nor you can be held liable for mistakes that have slipped BOTH of our notices.
10a. As long as the commission has not yet been completed, I may readjust the price or even pay back what has been overcharged.
11. Changes to my carrd, prices and TOS do not negatively affect any previous commissions or commissions already in progress.
12. Before and after a commission is completed, I may post WIPs or the finalised artwork to my social media accounts.
12a. If the customer so wishes, I will keep the artwork off any public sites (chatrooms not included). If the customer made no such demands, I am free to publish the artwork wherever I'd like.
13. Neither you nor I are to share any of our personal data with any third parties. That includes payment information as well as private chats and contact info.
Copyright
1. According to EU Copyright Law I (the artist) own the intellectual rights to my artworks and hold the exclusive right to authorize and prohibit their distribution (e.g. by sale), unless I choose to share or transfer those rights. Hence, I am applying special terms to commissioned artworks to share those rights with you.
2. You (the client) receive the right to distribute and use the artwork commercially.
2a. Unless we have agreed otherwise, I have those same rights.
2b. You may also ask me to cover the artwork with a large watermark or reduce its resolution upon posting.
2c. If the commission in question required me to design a character, I do not hold the right to use said design commercially. I cannot re-sell a design meant for you or otherwise claim the character aside from the time and effort I poured into it.
3. You are permitted to crop, cut, distort, scale down, blur, adjust colors, or paint over the commissioned artwork.
3a. You are NOT permitted to feed commissioned artwork to an AI Image Generator.
4. You may NOT remove my watermark.
4a. However, you may ASK me to remove my watermark in return for financial compensation.
4b. If the watermark is impacted through editing (ie. cropping, blurring, scaling, etc.), you may instead credit me in some other way as a substitute (e.g. adding a description, editing in a „illustration/artwork/design by ComikaDraws”, etc.).
4c. 4b only applies in the case that you did not purposefully obscure the watermark – In which case, I consider our agreement broken.
4a. In unique cases in which issuing credit would cause problems for you or be excessively inconvenient (e.g. taking up necessary space in your bio if used as banner or profile picture, being tedious to work with when used as emote, impairing the use as a 2D model, …) you are not required to credit me.
